Noro Kureyon is a distinctive 100% wool yarn known for its rustic texture and dramatic, self-striping colour changes. The name Kureyon comes from the Japanese word for “crayon”, reflecting its bold, artistic palette.
Each 50g ball contains approximately 100 metres of yarn. The gradual colour transitions make it particularly suited to knitting and crochet projects where the changing shades can become part of the design. It is also suitable for felting.
We currently have a limited quantity of two older shades that are no longer shown in Noro’s current colour range. As Kureyon is highly variegated, the colours visible on individual balls and their position within the colour sequence will vary. The photographs show examples from our actual stock.
